Rev. Jeanne Phillips

Rev. Jeanne Phillips has walked a unique path in ministry –- from TV News producer to hospice chaplain and minister!

After earning a BA degree in Broadcast Journalism, Jeanne spent 20 years reporting, anchoring and producing the nightly news at various TV stations throughout the United States. Her “inner compass” guided her out of the newsroom and into the San Diego Zoo Public Relations Department where she produced documentaries and shows for Animal Planet, PBS and network news broadcasts.

In 1996, she became a licensed Religious Science Practitioner and spiritual counselor and 7 years later, Spirit called her to take a larger leap — into chaplaincy training and the hospice ministry.

She earned her MA degree and was ordained as a Religious Science Minister in 2013 while working as a hospice chaplain. For more than 15 years, she served as a Spiritual Counselor, providing spiritual and emotional support for patients with terminal illnesses and their families. She currently serves as Staff Minister at Vision Center for Spiritual Living.

Rev. Jeanne has counseled clients, taught classes, and facilitated workshops for the past 30 years. In addition, she is a sought-after guest speaker among spiritual centers throughout Southern California, as well as a credentialed Mindful Change Life Coach.

She says her greatest joy is seeing the Divine within each individual while holding a safe and sacred space of unconditional love.

Her strong communication background, wide-ranging experiences and deep spiritual consciousness make her a powerful speaker who guides, empowers and inspires her audience.
